Hi, I was recently accepted to EC and I am looking for textbooks. Any suggestions? I looked on ebay and half.com, but they are still pretty pricey. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a few suggestions for you. I've been using campusi.com to look for books. It is a main search engine and will compare different prices for the book you need. Perhaps, for some books, use a later edition of the book. If you can find the previous edition and buy it used, you will probably save more $ that way. Also, you can check out some of the nursing sites on the Yahoo groups. People sell their books after completing courses.
Good luck to you!

i used amazon.com for all my books during LPN school and i got some books for as low as $20 at times.
usually on all those book searches, amazon shows up as one of the cheapest sites.
good luck!

You could also try abe.com - it's an association of second-hand book dealers. You can order online, but on occasion I've found books listed on abe that are local, and saved myself the postage :)
