I graduated from the Kaplan location in Lincoln in October of 2015. Due to some issues with the DON and documentation I was unable to test for boards until this month 02/2016. During that four months I used the POINT from Lippincott, Kaptest, and some flash cards that I picked up at Barnes and Noble. I had thought that I was doing well and was on track to pass. Not so much. I got all 265 questions and failed. I have been an LPN since graduation from Kaplan Omaha in 2010. That NCLEX I passed with 75 questions. I know my content, but always seem to second guess myself. Pearson Vue says that there is a 45 day waiting period. During this time I want to try something new, because what I was doing didn't help. I've been told about the Hurst review and thought about giving that a try, but it is a $300- $350 expense. Has anyone tried it? Is it really worth the money? Are there any other reviews that anyone can suggest? I know I'm not stupid, but dear lord it felt that way when I saw the results. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

One not so expensive item is the NCLEX Mastery app you can put on your phone. Answer lots of questions and read the rationales. Other than that, answer questions. Lots and lots of questions.
