Tell me about the TEAS test. Is this somthing I do on-line or is it somthing I sign up for and take at the college I am trying to get into for nursing? Is there a study guide for it available? Anything helpful you can tell me?

TIA

teas is easy. basic information. i didn't study a lick and got the 97th percentile. you should be able to do it through the school you are applying for or they can tell you where to take it.

good luck

I haven't taken it yet but if i haven't already missed it i'm planning on it...I ordered a study guide from their site..i dont remember the link but i did a search for it and came up with it. I think the book was $23 and i got it in 2 days.

I just signed up to take the TEAS test Friday. I signed up for it at my college and it cost me $30. I am taking it to apply to an RN program. We are required to take 3 Sections of it: Math, Reading and Science. From what I have been studying it doesn't look too difficult at all. Good Luck.

TEAS wasn't hard- just annoying:). Get the study guide and look it over. I just got my results back - 98th percentile and I thought I did horrible on the math...but scored 99% in that section!

You can order your study guide at: http://www.atitesting.com. I think you can click on the "store" link and that's where you can buy it. It should be about 25 or 30 dollars. I studied only a few hours for the test, and I got an 88% on the test overall. It is somewhat similar to the ACT or SAT's in that is a lot of general information, so it is kind of hard to study for. On the other hand, it is fairly easy to do well on also! Oh, and you will need to sign up for it at whatever college's nursing program you are applying to.

Just thought I would tell everyone that I took the TEAS today and did really well. Got the best score my school will award for it. Well, good luck to everyone else.
