I have been googling and looking around for the best answer. I have a 20 min phone interview. What is most important to include. Im a new grad, so no work experience. I have included education history, my interests, and why I think this hospital is the best choice for me... anything else??

try to include how your skills and or certain traits, you have or have learned learned in the clinical aspect of your nursing school will help the hospital achieve their mission statement, values or will consider you qualified. always tell them how you can benefit them.
scroll down on the discussions and u might find more info on interviews. also i posted some links on a discussion called first interview, help!

Ditto to the above. Find their mission statement (and know the history of the hospital. That tells them if this is just a job for you, or somewhere that you really want to work because the facility interests you.)
Sell yourself as a team player and have examples.
Tell them of a time you were successful at a difficult task
What about your work ethic? Did you call in a lot at a previous job? Let them know if you were employee of the month or some other 'horn tooting' you can tell them about.
Good luck!

If you have any type of work experience you may be able to compare how you did certain things and how it can help you in nursing. I used to work as a manager in a restaurant so I was able to use that and how I am a good leader, time management skills, delegation and so forth. I didn't have any prior nursing experience. I went from the restaurant into my first job as a LPN.

Talk about your GOALS in Nursing. Why did you want to become a nurse? What do you want to achieve? List your academic qualifications- honors, accolades, etc, relevant clinical experiences, why you want to work for this hospital and unit.

You also might want to think back to your clinical evaluations to identify a strength. When the "strengths" question comes up, you can say, "My instructors have consistently noted that ___________ is one of my clinical strengths." Answering that way provides a third party authority to your answer, rather than just being your own opinion about yourself. Give a clinical example of that strength.
As for weakness questions, you can name a weakness but immediately go into how you intend to improve on it or have improved on it. Show some insight into your own weakness and how you will overcome it.
