Telemetry course

Hey guys im applying for a telemetry floor and looking into doing a Florida approved CE course.

Heres a link: http://www.westernschools.com/Admin/ProductDetail/tabid/116/rvdsfpid/the-12lead-ecg-in-acute-coronary-syndromes-3rd-edition-2347/Default.aspx

Is this course acceptable for the floor or is the hospital going to require me to take another once im hired? Btw i already got my PALS and ACLS

looks good to me.

At my hospital you can test out of the tele courses if you feel comfortable, so that course would probably be good.

I would wait, or ask during your interview. My floor made me take the AHA Basic Dysrhythmia (basically to test out), and then our education folks offered a 12-lead class that I got paid to take. If I told them I took something outside, they would have said, "that's nice, but why did you pay for it? And we want you to take ours anyway." Like I said, just wait, or ask.

Also, I'm pretty solid on ACLS and rhythms, and I still had trouble learning 12 lead out of a book. You really want an in-person class for that (or at least it helped me a lot, and I usually do the bulk of my learning online).
