So I do not want to scare those that have yet to take it, but my test today was 'challenging'. I hoped that I would get 'easy' questions, but for me many were tricky. Long story short, I got 'proficient', but it was not the score I was looking for. In fact, I did worse on the actual exam than the practice...granted the practice score wasn't great either. The school I've applied to does not have a specific target but they 'suggest' 90 percentile. Nevertheless, I'm going to retake in about 1 month.
Congrats to all those that got a score that each of your schools are requiring or looking for. This is only one of my battles I have to acknowledge, refocus, and re-evaluate. I will not let this stop me.

How does it compare to the online practice exams by ATI? I just took Version B and it seems too easy..

What did you use to study for it? I've been studying with a few friend and we will be taking it in December.
The online practices test was difficult for me..mostly math and science..those were my two lowest scoring areas. However if I had to compare, only a few questions (math/science), were similar to the practices test. I found language and usage very difficult and I'm a native speaker. There were some similar answers to certain questions, and I really had to read each answer out-loud-whisper it to myself. They were tricky as some nouns/verbs were incorrect or out of order. Unless you speak 'proper' English or an English major, the subtle differences were not easy to immediately identify.
I studied with the ATI manual. I also used mometrix for the math practice examples, and lastly Online prep test A. Let me say that I did not take Part B due to the amount of time I had left to study. I only studies for 1 month total, not every day since I work full time, a mother and I'm a wife. I increased my studying the last week before the exam.
My next strategy is to increase my study, review my weak areas, and do many different types of practice tests. After doing so for about 2-3 weeks, I will take the Part B practice test and see how I compare.

Keep your head up! You sound like you're really trying and dedicated so don't get down on yourself. Easy for me to say cause I'm my worst enemy. I take it jan 11th in Athens ( I'm from Coweta ). I took the practice test A today and did ok. Not what I wanted of course. But careless mistakes in English cost me approx 10-13 points on my score which isn't a big change since there only 26 ish questions on it. Have you retaken it yet?
