Teas v

I have taken teas v three times and I have not scored above 64 percent. The reason I keep on failing is because l score low in reading. The last time I took teas V test, I score 86.7 in English and score 45 in reading comprehension. Please I need your advice on how to score high in teas reading comprehension. I am really frustrated and couldn't concentrate in whatever Iam doing. Please help me.

Reading is very difficult to study for. It's the only section on the test where questions can have more than one correct answer, which is a concept that is extremely difficult for a lot of people to grasp. I remember a few questions where all of the answers could have worked, but I knew I was looking for the "most correct" answer. Are you struggling with passage comprehension (the portion where you have to read a ridiculously long essay and answer questions about it) or with information source comprehension (where you have to read and answer questions regarding labels/advertisements/maps?) or both?

Thanks for taking out time to respond to my post. I am struggling with both reading comprehension and information source comprehension.

Have you looked up any online resources for reading comprehension? I could see that being difficult especially for students in which english is not their first language. Not sure if this is the case with you. Study study study. Looks like you are doing great on the harder subjects though.
