TEAS V Exam

Hi everyone! I'm new to this site. I am taking my TEAS V today and I'm extremely nervous :nailbiting: I've been out of school for 20 years, so my concern is the science portion of the exam. I have spent the last 6 weeks preparing. I purchased the ATI study guide and online practice tests, as well as the McGraw study guide. I had purchased some flash cards, but to be honest, that method of studying wasn't for me. The college I'm applying to requires a minimum of 62 to apply and will only select 24 applicants for the next upcoming term in August. Fingers and toes crossed I do well today and get into school. Any last minute suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated. I will post my results after my exam :)

I just took mine on Tuesday and passed with an 82. I used the ATI study guide on and off for 2 weeks.

The english, math, and reading portions were really basic and everything was covered in the ATI guide...easy stuff.

The science is what I scored the lowest on...I felt like there were a lot of questions that were not covered in the guide but since you used more than one source to study from I think you'll do just fine!

Good Luck!

It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I graduated in 95 and took the TEAS V in February to see where I needed to study, sort of feel the test out. I scored 84.0% on the first try so needless to say I didn't ever end up studying. I was accepted yesterday to the ADN program I applied to so my advice is don't worry, treat it like a practice exam and don't stress :)
