I used Mometrix ATI TEAS study guide and ATI Smart Prep Online StudyPackage. Do not buy the most recent ATI book, it's useless.

Download Ati teas pocket prep (the one with the red P) and buy the full version. Give yourself months to prepare for the exam to get the best grade possible your FIRST time around. Most schools want the first score.

orangesky303- can you give us more feedback about the smart prep? did you use it? I can't find any feedback about it. I'm on remediation and was advised to use the smart prep. does the self study module really help?

@ocean43 - I took the SmartPrep pre-assessment exam, then read through almost all of Mometrix, thentook the post-assessment exam. Then I started reviewing Smart Prep materials based on the post-assessment exam. I then took the 1st practice test, then did remediation/reviewed based on feedback from the 1st practice test. Then I took the second practice test, and again did remediation on what I missed. For me I think the SmartPrep practice tests were much harder for the science and math portions than on the real TEAS test. I found the English and Reading sections harder on the TEAS. I scored a 94.7% on the TEAS last month if that helps. I did all this three weeks before I took the TEAS. Expensive but worth it? YMMV. I had a solid background in anatomy, physiology, and microbiology which helped me through the science portions.

The benefit of the SmartPrep is that is assesses your weak areas and tells you what to go back and read. Also if you miss a test question in the system, it will give the rationale behind each multiple choice answer.

Thank you so much this really helps. My school is paying for the smart prep for me. just wanted to get some feedback about it. Congrats on your awesome score :)

You're welcome. Good luck!

Thank you

I felt that there were a bunch of questions on the actual test that were similar to the questions from the practice test you buy off the ATI website.

Thank you...will purchase it for sure. Great recommendations on it

Did the pocket prep help you?

I liked Pocket Prep. I liked that it made it easy to study every day by song practice questions whenever and wherever I wanted. I would try to do 15 a day, but sometimes I missed a day. I got a 93.3, but I also had a strong A&P background.
