teas 6

hello everyone i just took my teas 6 test today and I'm not sure if this happened to anyone else but i ran out of time on the english section and had to literally guess about 10 questions!! then i feel like i did awful in the science section some of the questions were so hard:( my school only requires a 60%

does any one know the minimum percentages i can get in each section to achieve a overall 60%!!?

please help guys i am so scared i just want to cry and scream

also which questions do they throw out of the 170 questions do they randomly throw out questions that could possibly be right?

i just need a passing score and cannot retake this test AGAIN :"(

HI! Welcome!

I'm not sure how they combine all of the sections to create a total score. Each section can have about 4-6 questions that will not be graded because they are testing those questions for future tests. I took the TEAS test about two weeks ago and my scores are:

Reading: 97.9%

Math: 100%

Science: 93.6%

English: 83.3%

Total Score: 94.7%

I got a significantly lower score in English than my other sections, but my overall didn't seem to go down too much because of it. I hope this gives somewhat an indication of how they weigh the sections.

hi what program are you applying to? is it in CA?

Did you get a print out at the end of your test? Mine had my average score and each sections individual score on it. I received it as soon as I was done with the test.

As for the questions they throw out....it is my understanding that there are set questions that don't count - regardless of whether you get them right or not.
