So I am beginning to prepare to take the TEAS 6 and I want to do the prudent thing and buy a study manual. However when I looked the ATI TEAS 6 manual I found it was poorly reviewed. People say it has numerous and obvious errors. I don't think it makes sense to buy a study book that has errors so now I'm looking at other brand. Which study guide did you use? What do you recommend I do to help me pass the TEAS 6?

I bought the ATI teas 6 study manual because I have yet to find any thing other than the ATI book and the Mastery app that is specific to the teas 6. I will bet money this is why ATI switched up the test, so they could again be the only ones to provide material for the exam and bank off of it.
If you find and other materials please post and let us know.
I ended up getting the Mometrix one because they have links to videos explaining content. I hope it wasn't a bad call to choose that one but I need to start studying sooner than later! It should be in this weekend so I will get a better feel for it then.
What is the mastery app?

I bought the ATI review manual a couple of months ago and started studying it immediately, even though I'm not applying until next summer. The errors were very noticeable. I finished the reading and math section, then I got an email from Barnes & Noble telling me that they're going to discontinue selling that book because of the errors. They gave me a list of the corrections and they also told me that they're putting out a new book sometime in October and that I could return mine for free. So if you want to buy the new review manual, you can wait until October and purchase it on the B&N website for a cheap price.
I'm pretty upset about it. These nursing schools expect us to make high grades, but they partner up with a company that made distinct errors in their review manual and they make us wait for a corrected version until October.

Wow, I didn't know another manual will be available in October. I also have that wonderful book of errors . Was it B&N who informed you of this?
I completely agree with your last statement. I actually called ATI and stated simply that, all the representative repeated was with " it's just a study guide". I was not pleased by any means. Some things are just not acceptable. Not once did she mention another manual would be published. As a result, I also purchased the Momentrix & ATI Teas study guide version 6 by accepted.inc.

I was afraid of the same thing, but please don't let that scare you away from getting the book. Ati website provides the addendum. I thought it was going to bend a huge hassle but when I was going over to correct the errors in the book 99% had already been corrected.. Not to mention, the errors were simple errors that were obvious. Additionally, the errors were not on the practice tests. Buy the book!
They corrected the book. If you purchase now, the book won't have any errors.
