TEAS failed 3rd time

Yes, different schools have different requirements. What were your scores?

I'm sorry. That's rough. I do know that every school has different requirements. Some only look at certain sections of the TEAS, and some look at the averaged grade. Also, schools have different requirements about how many tests you can take. One I know of only allows you to take the test once; even if you've taken it more than once, they only look at your first test grade. Have you looked at all of the nursing schools you could possibly attend to see their requirements? I'd try doing that before thinking about taking the test again. Also, some nursing schools require the HESI exam instead of the TEAS. That could be an option.

I know how u feel I took my teas v exam yesterday and failed it. I have the ati book. The science part was my lowest score anyone have suggests on how to make a better score next go around?

Hey Ashton24, I feel you I took mine on the 18th and I failed on the reading section. The cut score was a 69% but I got a 62%. I passed my overall grade though. So, I have to retake in June that is; if the program isn't fully occupied. I'm extremely terrified, I couldn't sleep for almost 3 days. ;(

I'm taking mine on Thursday... Any tips you can provide? What in the science subject was mostly on the test?

Hey, if you've been studying the TEAS manual you should be fine. Do not spend too much time on one question because time goes by so quick. If you're taking or you've already taken A&P, that will help on the science section. Life Science, Chemistry, Codon chart, scientific reasoning...basically everything from the manual. THINK TWICE when answering, be able to eliminate answers that don't sound right. Have some rest, believe in yourself and go for it :). Good luck!!

I shouldnt have taken those three tries back-to-back.. I was rushing to take it cos the application for my school almost due so I was very unprepared! and I shouldve talked to nursing advisor after the failing the first or second try.. too late now gotta transfer school lol

Hey Norma24, I'm sorry, I know how you feel. I cried like a bubbling baby after I failed my first Teas. I'm taking it again between April-May so I'm preparing diligently. I honestly did not study! Plain and simple. Don't give up, if this is what you want, gut it out and make it happen. You got this! ??

Hey Nomor24, I totally feel your pain. I cried like a bubbling baby after I failed my first teas test. I'm taking it again sometime between April and may. I'm diligently studying right now but I failed the first time because I didn't prepare adequately. I've been trying to get in to the nursin program for along time. My advice to you is to buckle down, focus and start studying now. I know it's hard but it's only going to get harder and anything worh having takes hard work to achieve. You got this!!!???
