TCC Fall 2008 Applicants

Anyone else out there looking to apply to TCC for admission in the Fall of 2008? I had applied and was accepted for the Spring class, but had to turn the spot down for personal reasons. I'm going to the information session on the 6th and will be applying for the Fall. My brother in-law started in January so I plan on pumping him for information every step of the way!

I am going to the information session tomorrow!

Sounds like you just have to accept your spot when the letters come out in May and then you're set!

I hope so, I just worry that they might hold it against me that I turned down a spot for the Spring class.

I've applied for fall 2008 at TCC. Since you were accepted if you don't mind my asking, what kind of TEAS scores did you get? I'm not worried about my grades, almost all A's. I take my TEAS tomorrow. I'm nervous. I've been working so hard for all of these years to get accepted. I would hate it if my TEAS scores kept me out. I'm ready to get in and go on with my life! :)

I was in the 99th percentile. Don't sweat the TEAS. Out of all the hoops you have to jump through to get admitted, that's the easiest in my opinion.

Thanks! I've been going through the study guide and it seemed fairly straight forward, but someone else told me how hard it was. I'm just ready to get it over with. I'm tired of worrying about it! I can't believe we have to wait until May to find out. :(

I wouldn't sweat it either! In the info session today they said that 70's & 80's were good scores for the TEAS. They also said that the science classes were weighted more than the TEAS test score.

Does anyone know if people have been accepted without having all of their pre-req's done? How about if they don't have their sciences completed?

Also.... looks like the results should be out in April! Everyone who is accepted has to go to an all day class on May 2nd.... so they have to send out notices before then.

Did everyone get their application turned in?

Welcome on board guys, prepare to endure stress levels of 9 out of 10. In anycase it's all good. I used to be in your shoes wondering if I will get in but I did. Good luck.

Yep, I got mine in!!! But no stress here.... because I'm 99.99999% sure that I won't get in this time. LOL My sciences aren't done yet but I wanted to apply anyways.... just because I CAN. (Woo hooo!)

At least now my TEAS & everything are out of the way so when I reapply again in the fall, I won't have much to do!!!

Good luck to the rest of you!! :)
