I recently passed the nclex and applying as an RN.I had myTB test .There was no bleb when I was poked but 12 hrs later it looks like a mosquito bite....Shall I get worried?

There's a reason that PPDs are read between 48-72 hours after placement and it is because what it looks like at 12 hours (and 13 hours and 22 hours and 31 hours...) is meaningless. Take a deep breath. Let it do its thing.

Absolutely nothing to worry about. I've gotten the tb test for many years now and it does that every time. No bleb just means they went a little too deep into the skin but it should still read fine in the end. Funny story, I actually fainted the first time I got my tb done. I was fresh out of CNA class and didn't understand the concept of the bleb. You live and learn.

In addition to what the others have said, I wouldn't worry! Even if your test is positive it doesn't mean you have TB, just that you were exposed. Most hospitals will just do a questionnaire and get a baseline chest X-ray, it should not effect your ability to work there.
