Tax home question

Right now, my home base is my parent's house. I will be there between assignments and sending a check to them monthly to contribute to their home expenses. Does that make their residence legally count as my tax home? What are the rules?

    That does make it your tax home however in California they will take out your state tax... there are tons of text strategies to get around this...
