Talking about the working conditions !

Hi ! I'm a nurse from China.I want to talk about the working conditions with you.

First, I will tell you my working conditions.

I am living in China,Nanjing .And I'm working in a hospital named " Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital" .I am working in department of general surgery.I have worked for nearly three years. The salary is about 1500-2000 yuan every month.I have two days on leave everyweek. But I always feel very tired.

Because the number of nurses in this surgery is only 11 including the head nurse! And now the number of patients is more than 50!So we couldn't work very well and patients often get angry with us.Sometimes we couldn't help patients on time.I usually feel bad ,sometimes I hate my job!Do you have the same conditions as me ?

I want to know your working conditions.I'm waiting for your reply!

I answered your other post in the general nursing forum...........

I personally cannot complain.I work in an ER (12 acute beds,6 Fast track, and 8 observation beds)in Pennsylvania. We usually 4-6 nurses plus a charge nurse. Its very busy, but not unsafe.

My daughter is from Yang Chun in Guangdong province. We loved China and cannot wait to bring her back there when she is older. I hope we can continue to write about nursing, China, and anything else....

No problem!I hope we can keep in touch with each other.

I have a question. What's the meaning about "My daughter is from Yang Chun in Guangdong province. We loved China and cannot wait to bring her back there when she is older."?Your daughter is a Chinese girl?I got pullzed.

Yes, we adopted her two years ago when she was 11 months old. She is a beautiful and fun loving child, bright, and the light of our lives. We spent two weeks in China and just loved seeing the people and the country. Hope we can write back and forth.

Hey, our conditions seem very good compared to yours......For 28 beds we have 5 nurses for morning and afternoon shift, and 3 at night. If we get more admissions then we get an extra nurse.
