Hi, I'm taking the TEAS test soon, but am nervous about the math portion. It's been almost five years since I've had algebra. Can anyone recommend some good websites for review? How high did the math go on TEAS?

On my exam I had several ratio equations that I had never seen before and the wonderful people here at allnurses helped me figure them out....
1/1000:1/50=x/6...solve for x. I will find the thread link if you don't know how to do this.
There was a question similar to the one in the study guide about theater seats (floor & balcony) how much did each cost.
There was 1 each of probability, permutation and the fundamental counting principle (see this site for help on these topics and more: http://www.wtamu.edu/academic/anns/mps/math/mathlab/col_algebra/index.htm
Know metric conversions and how to figure the area of circles - for sure.
Basically follow the study guide. With the exception of the first example I gave above, the guide was very representative - unless you have the new purple one, then you will want to find some info on probability and permutation.
Good luck!! My friend took it today and pulled an 87.1. She did the best on reading & english...keep an eye on the timer and be careful not to run out of time.

People keep telling me to "read the study guide" but I can't seem to find it at any libraries around here. The school I'm trying to get into rent the books, but the school is in another state. So, I'm trying to "wing it" without the study manual.
You can get it directly from ATI. http://www.atitesting.com. I think I paid $55 for the guide & 1 on-line practice exam - including shipping/handling.
