Welcome.

Moved to the International forum. You need to meet state requirements of foerign trained nurse. Suggest you read the sticky called Primer to working in the USA and you will have to sit the NCLEX and looking at a processing time of approx 4-6 months on the process and you can not work as a RN until a pass and license issued. Which state are you going to be working?

The only licensing exam that we have in the US now is the NCLEX exam, we do not have individual state boards and have not had them in years.

Please take the time to do some reading of the sticky threads here for information that you need to have.

Licensure and immigration are two very different things, and are not related. You will need to meet the requirements for licensure, and that has nothing to do with being married or getting married.

there are lots of thread regarding this matter if you just have read and search in this site. and you have to think what state you wnat to practise and search there BON to look for the requirments.

ooppsss...sorry if i used caps. i am just very confious and eagerly wanted to know about taking state board that's why i wrote in caps so everyone will notice. thanks and sorry again

i will be working here in new jersey and thanks for the info

You are going to need to meet the licensing requirements for that state, and that means getting the CES done as a start. Immigration has not bearing on this, but you will need to meet the requirements as a foreign nurse.

They can all be found on the NJ BON website.
