While measuring SPO2 of a patient where is it(SPO2) more accurate Tragus (ear) or over the finger????

It totally depends on the patient. If they have poor circulation or cold fingers you may have to use a forehead probe. Wherever you get the best waveform/reading.

Homework? What does your book say? What does the manufacturer of your equipment say to do to optimize the equipment's ability to do its job??

Wherever you get the best perfusion index (PI) and pleth.

Finger, toe or the ear. I think fingers are the easiest, if there is good perfusion.
