Taking NCLEX 6/9/14

Hello everyone! 6/3/14

Well the countdown is officially in the single digits.....5 days left. I take the NCLEX (Florida) next Monday at 8am! I have been studying constantly for about 1.5months now. I did the HURST review and have taken 3 of the Q review tests: score following: 87/125, 88/125, and 86/125. I am not sure if those scores are a good indicator of my chances of passing NCLEX, but I do know that I am consistent with my range of scores.

I do not feel that I am prepared at all.....does anyone ever? I hope all goes well, I have 3 Q-review tests left, which I am taking every other day until the exam.

Anyone else who has used HURST since the NCLEX changed it's format and passed??? Any tips or advice? Ugh....I just wish I felt ready......

Thank you everyone! ~Namaste~

I haven't taken the test yet but I've been using Hurst to study as well. However, I have the older videos/workbook. I was wondering if the newer ones had content on diseases like Alzheimers?

No the newer ones do not have specific geriatric diseases (Alzheimers, Dementia, etc.) in the core content.....so you're not missing out :)

Thanks! Are you using any additional resources or just sticking with Hurst?

Hurst. NCLEX made incredibly easy. And that's really it. Too many resources just doesn't seem helpful or productive for me.

Good Luck LittleYogaNurse, I will be taking mine in NC Monday also, I've been doing Kaplan and ATI review questions, and I feel underprepared, just wished I knew if the questions I'm practicing is at the level of passing. Good Luck and Best wishes to you though!!!

I have to ask....how does it feel to finally be a RN? How excited were you when you saw "pass"?!!?!?

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! As you know, it is just so so stressful....years of work culminating to one last test..... eeeek!!!

RNyourBusiness.....how did the HURST q-review questions compare to NCLEX questions? Which seemed "harder"? or did Hurst do a good job of preparing you? Sorry for all of the questions! :)
