Taking Micro & A&P 2

Hey, I’m currently taking my pre reqs. I’ve done all of them except for A&P 2 & micro... because finical aid won’t pay for one course a semester I’m forced to take them together otherwise I would not be able to attend because I would not be able to pay out of pocket. Any tips? I know it’s going to be a hard semester so I can use any tips I can get.

I’ve been in your situation before! The best thing to do is to maximize productivity. Set aside at least 4 hours a day for studying, organizing notes, completing assignments etc. 2 for A/P and 2 for micro. I recommend the pomodoro technique to minimize burnout. I had classes in the morning so after class I would give myself 2 hours to relax, watch TV etc and then faithfully at 4pm I would study for 4 hours.

Thank you! I just googled this technique because I’ve never heard of it and I’m so glad you shared this! Deff gonna be using it!

I think you will be fine. I took them together and did well. It was a lot of studying, but I really loved Micro. It was so interesting! I made flashcards after each lecture, which really helped. Just stay on top of assignments and studying and you will do great!
