TABE testing

Published

Hey there. I will be beginning my lpn program in June 2016. Will be taking the TABE test soon and it states I most get a 11.0!? Does anyone know how it's scored? What's the highest someone can get? Or is it different everywhere? Thanks for any feedback!

On the TABE, a score of 11.0 equates to an 11th grade education. In other words, it is considered equal to the basic skills that a reasonably educated 11th grader would learn in the junior year of high school.

The highest score on the TABE is a 12.9, which equates to a high school graduate (read: someone who has completed nine months of the 12th grade in high school).

THIS SITE has very nice overview of TABE. It is very widely used to determine whether students are ready for college-level work.

Thanks. After I posted this I was like...11.0...daahh 11th grade level lol. But thank you!!
