hello evryone...i will have a face to face interview next week..and just want to ask what kind of questions do they ask.(medical respiratory unit)..and also do you guys know anything about this unit?what kind of patients, their manager, hows the staff? thank you all in advance!

p.s. i dnt have any acute care experience yet as a rn,only snf.

Swedish has more than one medical respiratory unit...so without specific information we can't tell you how the staff/managers are.

Tell me when you went above and beyond customer service, tell me when you embarrassed by a dr and how you handled it, etc. They want to see your behaviors and how you process and respond to situations. Have a few good scenarios in your head that you've experienced.

Do you like SEIU 1199? That is also our union. I was on the neg. team this last negotiations. I'm not to happy with their communication at this present time.

We base our wages on Swedish pay scale, so do well.

This is my first union job, so I'm not sure honestly. We are still in negotiations, and I see a picket list going around, so it must not be going so well....
