hello evryone...i will have a face to face interview next week..and just want to ask what kind of questions do they ask.(medical respiratory unit)..and also do you guys know anything about this unit?what kind of patients, their manager, hows the staff? thank you all in advance! p.s. i dnt have any acute care experience yet as a rn,only snf.

@little mouse--just wanna ask,how is everything working out for u now? I just got a charge nurse position 2 weeks ago!and i am supposed to get a 2 week orientation but the thing is NO ONE IS ORIENTING ME!...i mean..is it called orientation when no one is orienting u? im so ****** about that..the 1st 2 days someone taught me about all the forms they use..the second day i was following a lpn..and then after that im on my own!!worst of all is that people are taking advantage of me now,bc im the "CHARGE NURSE."lwith my 2 weeks experience there, everyone that i met is saying something negative about this facility. they dont have a system at all!..its crazy..i need some advice please...

Today im going to do it again just so i know if all the info was retained and then after that ill just gonna study all the basics like the labs and stuff..and then im done..Im goin to close my books and notes..and i will do something to release my anxiety on sunday..... anyways...did u take urs already..if so, did u pass it? or how are ur scores in qt,,..thanks again...:redpinkhe:redpinkhe:redpinkhe

Hi everyone...I am taking my nclex on monday and i just wanna ask if my scores in kaplan is enough for me to pass it.. Ive been waiting for this day....ive been studying so hard and i dont know if my kaplan scores are enough to make me pass the exam..i took QT7 last tuesday and i was freakin out.. i only got 59%...and that was my lowest in all of my QT scores q1- 73% q2- 72% q3- 68% q4- 61% q5- 70% q6- 62% q7- 59% my ave. qbank 67%... thank you in advance for the reply..

hey there..i applied dec. 07 and i called them up and ask them about the letter and he said that i need to resend the letter again..so thats what i did.they replied back with the another letter saying that i need to contact PRC in Pi and ask them if they could send a letter to CA bon explaining that im exempted on nle...so thats what i did, but PRC told me that the only exception in not taking the NLE is when u are foreign nationale..since im just an immigrant here and not a US citizen yet..they said that im not exempted...i am really frustrated about this..but hey theres a lot of ways...dont give up.if they said that they are reviewing your letter then just wait..or start applying for CES already..and apply to a state which doesnt require license like hawaii,new mexico and nevada...they only require CES...yes im upset regarding my ca application but reality is reality they can change their requirement any time and pretty much other states will be doin it soon...so act now..dont just wait..

Well im thinking to start my CES already b/c i am thinking of applying in another states who requires CES. i am just thinking ahead of time because with the CA getting strict now. My reason is not because i dont have any intention to work in the philippines but because i dont have no option but to move here in the U.S with my mom before my board exams. this is because my K4 visa(minor derivative visa from my mothers k3 visa or spouse visa) to begin the change of status process.my visa expired 2 days after my graduation ceremony in march 2006 and we moved here march 14 2006. If CA wouldnt accept this reason then i might as well apply in another state. I am a permanent resident here in us already and i live in hawaii. i talked to BON here yesterday and ask them if they require local license and they said it is not necessary but you need to have a CES or cgfns certificate. take note guys!...it is ces OR cgfns. so its either one.i doubled check that to them.just wanna tell everybody this. cause theres a lot of BSN foreign grad here in HI who apply in CA bc they dont have license in PI. cause what they know is that they require one...hope this would help..

oh well i see...well Im gonna send my letter today or just fax it..cause thats what the guy said..but im going to send a mail too just to be sure..well i send the letter last december, i recieved another one last march and they told me i forgot the fingerprinting processing fee then recieve this letter last april..i wasnt able to read it until last sunday because i just got back from my vacation..How about ur CES?..how long did it take you to process it?..does it take a while?...thanks again..

Hi kanebo...i was reading some of your post here and just wanna ask about what happen to your CES application?did it get approve?.i didnt take my nle also and i am having a problem with my CA application...i sent my application last december together with my reason and now they are telling me to send a copy of my local license. I called them up and they said that i need to send again and that they are really strict now and they need a valid reason..my reason was that i came here in the U.S before my graduation and the local board exam. cause i really need to b/c my K4 visa(minor dependent visa) will expire and if im not gonna enter US before my visa expires, i may not be able to enter US for many years.what im planning now is to send them again my letter or start applying for CES..and by the way, does your friend applying for CA also?..did she recieve that letter?or she is still applying for one?..hope to hear from you.. SALAMAT!...^_^
