suppository

HiI just wanted to share with u guys abt my experience in the medical ward. I was still a student nurse then and had 8 patient assignment. It was really such a toxic day but to cut the story short, I had this last patient who complained of constipation. He was then given an order for suppository. Gosh, it was my first time to insert one and what a memory!!! Just moments before I would insert it, he gave me a "blast....fromthe past" (hehehe). Yup, he farted with all his might!!! I really felt like I was at that moment in a gas chamber> What an experience!:D

LOL been there done that got the t-shirt to prove it, ya learn to reach out to insert a suppository with your head held back lol.

A couple of weeks ago I was working med/surg and this guy had really bad hemorrhoids and I told him I would get him something for them, went to the Pyxis got the supp. put it in a plastic med cup with a dollop of KY, went to his room explained to him I had brought him a suppository for his hemmorhoids and he said "good, give it here" (I'm thinking he was a little embarassed about me doing it and wanted to do it himself) he took the cup and tried to pop it in his mouth and the KY had made it stick to the cup, and I had to explain to him it was a suppository to go in his rectum, and he said "oh I guess you should do it". The guy in the next bed got a chuckle out of it. (privacy curtains offer no audible privacy huh?)

OH MY GOD!
