Suny Suffolk nursing program pre reqs thread, what did you get/did you get in?

I started this thread to see who has gotten into the suffolk community college nursing program, day or night, and what grades you received on your pre reqs to be accepted. Obviously this is no guarantee for anyone else even if they receive the same grades, but it could give people an idea if they need to retake classes or not.

I received:

AP1 - B+

AP2 - B+

ENG 101 - A

Psych 101 - A

I applied to Suffolks day programs in selden and brentwood (Fall 09') as my first and second choices. I'm taking micro this spring at the ammerman campus. I wont know if I'm accepted until the spring obviously. I will post back when I know if I was accepted or not. Please post up what you got and if/which program you got into. Thanks!!

Did you find out if you got in to the Suffolk Nursing Program yet? I am holding my breath, looking in the mailbox every day to see if I got in. I applied for the evening program at Ammerman 1st choice and evening at Brentwood as 2nd choice. I got

AP1 - A

and I am currently taking micro at Ammerman. I'll let you know if I get in.

I applied for January 2010, but I don't think I can get in. They told me not to take over Eng 101, I took it 7 yrs ago the first time. But I am going to take it again this summer session 2 and try to get an A. I will apply again for Fall 2011. I am currently taking Micro and doing very well. Congrats on getting in.

Hi all. I just completed A & P II, and I have applied for Spring 2011 at Ammerman as an LPN advanced placement student. My grades are as follows:

Eng 101: A (they're counting it as a transfer from years ago)

Psy 101: A

A & P I: A

A & P II: A

I have a 4.0 GPA. I'm taking Microbiology in the Fall semester. The one and only hangup for me could be that my final grade for A & P II was not in by the deadline. However, when I called and spoke to someone who looked at my records, they said all looked good. On my transcript, it just says "Summer 2010" and not the date the grade was given or which session of the summer I took.

I'm hoping that I get in for Spring. To wait for the following Fall seems so unfair when I've worked so hard, but I guess it's in the hands of the Nursing Board now.

if i get into the nursing program, do i have to take the nursing courses in the curriculum in order?

And Guess What, :dncgbby: just got a Call over the Spring Break and Admissions told me I was excepted into the Ammerman Campus Day Program!
