Psych-A English-B A&PI-B+ A&PII-B+ I applied for January 2010, but I don't think I can get in. They told me not to take over Eng 101, I took it 7 yrs ago the first time. But I am going to take it again this summer session 2 and try to get an A. I will apply again for Fall 2011. I am currently taking Micro and doing very well. Congrats on getting in.

Hello, I am 24 yrs old and I am trying to get into a nursing program in the NYC/Long Island area. I live in Long Island and currently attend Suffolk Community College. I have read many of the threads on here regarding Universities such as Stonybrook, Farmingdale, etc..and most of you say they are extremely difficult to get into. This has me very worried, and sometimes I get a bit discouraged. A state school is my only option, as I have previous student debts and cannot afford private school. I try in school but always manage to fall short of an A, most of my grades are B+'s. I got an A in Chem, but only a B+ in AP1. Right now I am taking AP2, Psych, And Comm, and I am going to try hard for an A in all of them. I am wondering if it is still possible for me to get into a nursing program in the SUNY/CUNY schools?
