Starting this forum for those applying to Suffolk community college for fall 2023. Feel free to send encouraging words, share TEAS scores, and any information from the admissions department. The deadline to apply was January 15, 2023.
I scored 82 on my TEAS with a total rubric score of 81. I am still nervous, last year the admissions office told me they only looked at those who scored advanced on TEAS which is an 80.
"The Office of Central Admissions must receive the ATI TEAS score report by the application deadline. Within the year prior to the deadline, applicants may only take the ATI TEAS twice, and must register and pay all fees each time. "
for those who questioned what the academic year is, I found this on the suny suffolk website

Hi! I applied to Suffolk as well, got a 78 on the TEAS which was disappointing because science was the only category that I got under a 90 on. Does anyone know if they take into an account the individual scores of each section or just the overall score? Wishing the best for everyone and hopefully we hear soon!

Hey again!! It looks like we applied to a lot of the same schools LOL. I looked at Suffolk's website with their grading rubric and it looks like they give you points for the individual score only if your level is advanced and up and they give you points for each subsection with a score of 50 and up.
For each sub-scale adjusted individual score (TEAS Reading, TEAS Mathematics, TEAS Science, TEAS English and Language Usage) 50-59% - 1 60-69% - 7 70-79% - 8 80-89% - 10 90-99% - 12

Hey y'all! I applied for the fall, too. Only place I've applied for this year; we just moved here and getting the prereqs for the other programs and paying out of state tuition is just too much right now.
To share my stats, I got a 98 overall on the TEAS and I estimate I have an 80 on my rubric. I'm missing a few classes, but hope what I have is enough to get in.
Fingers crossed for all of us!
