Suny Downstate accelerated Program 2015-2016

Hey,

I am applying to SUNY Downstate 2016. The deadline for the application is on November 30. I am still missing the essay portion before I submit my application. Is it a bad idea that I am submitting my application this late and close to the deadline. I read on other thread that it would be better to submit the application earlier.

hey itzlilyyy - did you end up applying for summer 2016? i am awaiting my decision, and having trouble finding a thread for applicants for 2016 (hence, why i'm looking at the 2015 class!)

Hi, I also tried to start a similar thread, I only had one hit. I wanted to apply in October but wound up applying a week before the deadline because I did a retake of the TEAS. Hoping to hear sooner than later but I'm guessing that's wishful thinking.

I received my acceptance email today ! I was so nervous when I saw the email saying SUNY Downstate has made their decision. Good luck to the rest of you guys !!

Hi @lilazn04, did you have all your pre-reqs completed when you submitted your application or you had some outstanding? Thank you.

Question about outstanding pre-reqs. When I submitted my app I had anthro and statistics outstanding. Completed in february 2016 and sent it right away to admission. Currently status Faculty Screener7. Should I expect to be wait listed or I still have a chance to get an acceptance letter very soon??? Thank you.
