Hi Ado

Stars I'm glad the nicotine patches are helping

Dianah hope the internet issues resolve

Tweety hope your next shift is better

Yesterday was a pretty ordinary Saturday for me. Did bird watching in the morning. Stopped at the grocery store and had lunch with dad. Later took a bike ride as the weather was good and not too windy. Researched some dates and hotels for our Madison trip and emailed them to my cousin

Today have to be at church early as I'll be usher and we have now moved to 1 service at 9 from now until end of Summer. Will do some laundry when I get back, then go to the Arboretum to meet my friend N

Will be another warmer day today in the upper 70s. Rain this morning but thankfully dry this afternoon

yWent to sleep at 12:45 PM, slept pretty good, but then the telephone (who calls this early on a Sunday morning?!) and my bladder made me wake up. I had to turn up the thermostat as it was 66 degrees in the house, and I had the AC set on 70. So now we are set to 72 'heat', which may turn out to be too warm!

I fed the dog, saying "Here is another meal for you to ignore," (she never did eat her formerly favored food yesterday, but she did eat the treats at bedtime) and I was pleasantly surprised that she scarfed it down. I guess she got hungry enough! Made a cup of coffee and took my AM meds. And once again I am ensconced in bed, leaning up against a stack of pillows. Can't guarantee I won't doze off again, but isn't Sunday 'the day of rest?" The gypsies are moderately 'there' this morning, but I am hoping my meds and staying in bed lulls them into being quieter. And I think it was Ado who asked about the possibility of the gabellypentin making me wake up in a sweat; my answer is, no, it's not that. I took it at 3 AM when the gypsies started to get a bit too rowdy, and never sweated a drop.

And now I am getting sleepy ag aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

^ I dozed off with my index finger on the 'a' ^^^^^ proving my point about feeling sleepy

* now an hour and a half later:

Having another cup of coffee and eating leftover cold supper for breakfast. I'm going to scroll through the news feeds and see what's gone on overnight. Surely the prezidon't has been up to some kind of tricks, and there have to be some cute critters doing something, well, CUTE!

PS: Now I am an "Enthusiast", but PLEASE don't ever make me a mentor!

Morning, all. Yesterday seemed very long, and I was so tired when I got home. Rode early, at 7, to breakfast per usual. Then, did some computer stuff for dh. Youngest ds and I picked up dd and her youngest. We drove to Lynnwood, a northern suburb of Seattle, then rode the light rail to downtown and the theatre. We attended the 2 pm matinee of Phantom of the Opera (wow, amazing voices and costumes). Then we looked around the big Nordstrom store. We took the light rail back, stopped at the Nordstrom at the mall for dd (she was in search of shoes), then went to dinner. By this time, I was practically falling asleep in my caesar salad. Then drove home, and plopped into bed at 10.

No plans for today. I need to wash clothes so I can pack for cruise (we leave on Tuesday).

I've got no stories about getting locked out in my pjs. I wear fleecy ones with long sleeves. dh gets me a new set each Christmas. I have been known to put out the garbage can in my pjs early in the morning.

Good evening.

Was a rotten day at work. That's all I'll say. Staffing these days sucks.

Boss came in do due our annual reviews which were due April 30th. I get a good review that pretty much coincided with my self-review. No talk of raises yet, just the review.

Off for three days.

My post above/below needs mod approval. Good knows what I said. Anyway, I wanted to say that I too enjoyed Phantom of the Opera. Saw the broadway tour probably well over 20 years ago by now. I have the soundtrack on CD. I should find it and dust it off.

My mom always wore what she called a "granny gown." Flannel long-sleeved gown, buttons near the neck. Comfy, and she wore it at home every day (in her waning years).

Me? Baggy t-shirt and loose, elastic-waist pants. I have a sleep version and an "at home" version.

We drove to Victor Valley (an hour's drive) to meet with the bluegrass group, at their semi-annual campout. It's held in an open field at the Moose Lodge. We arrived around noon, visited and jammed till 3:30 or 4, then left for home. We just arrived home. Dh will feed the cats, then we will probably have soup for dinner.

It was a nice day, only 82 degrees, however in the early afternoon the dreaded desert winds sprang up, and though we were under awnings of several RVs camped close together, the wind sure whipped those awnings around! They were very secure, though, by those who knew what to expect!

Have a good evening!

Tweety~ I find I FREQUENTLY have to have my posts approved. My thought is maybe they just want to read what stuff I am up to, as my posts do have a somewhat Soap Opera quality.😂

Today I watched The Story of GI Joe, a WWII movie, and the actors sure had to get wet and walk through a LOT of mud, etc. So I was thinking what the soldiers in the REAL WWII European "theater" had to go through. UGH, it must've be awful. As a way to honor them (I know this might sound stupid to some, but...) for supper I had a cup of beans and some black coffee, which was pretty much what they ate in the field, in the movie. Then I watched Bataan, WWII in the Phillipines. Now I am watching the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which I had never watched before, and it was sad to see Han Solo run through with a saber, or whatever they were called. And Chewie killed a lot of The Forces soldiers and the guy who used to be Solo's son, but wasn't any more (?) Was Chewie killed too? I wasn't paying a LOT of attention, really.

And so the evening has passed, and soon I will go to bed.

See yez'all tomorry!

Oh, and PS, when I walked Tinker today she was thrilled to be able to flush a bunny out of hiding, the first one ever for her, and then on another walk she startled 3 deer when she stood up on her hind legs and barked! She was so excited and it was fun to see her enjoyment. (good thing she is always on a leash, or otherwise I'd never see her again!) She even dug at a mole tunnel. too, which Moosie-Cowboy used to do all the time; good memories on Memorial Day.
