Tweety glad the medication seems to be working. I probably am pretty tuned into my moods

Ado glad you were able to reach an agreement with him, and get him moved into the bedroom

Went out bird watching yesterday, probably a mistake as it was cold and there were few birds around. And it was a bit of a drive and was already going to be driving into the city. Might need to be a little more flexible about bird watching and skip days where it won't be convenient

Later did drive into the city to meet my friend B for lunch and a visit to the Elks National Memorial. We were both late due to a Polish independence parade we didn't know about. Our first choice of restaurant had a very long wait so we went to our 2nd choice, which was pretty good. Spent some time at the memorial, not very large but very ornate in parts. Stopped at a coffee shop then drove home. Traffic home was pretty heavy but not as bad as going there. Stopped at Trader Joe's and rested the rest of the night

Today will be going to church early to serve as assisting minister. Then will take the train downtown to meet my friend J for a walk around the lakeshore. Thankfully it looks like the rain will hold off until the evening. Rest of the day should be pretty calm, just exercise. Might start the crock pot eggplant parmesan before bed or might wait until tomorrow.

Will be a bit warmer today, in the mid 60s

Good morning!

Joe, enjoy church and your walk.

Woke up at 5:30 AM and thought I would get the day started and then around 8:30 laid down for an hour nap. Now having coffee and starting over. Had some rain yesterday which I guess was a cold front because it's it was in the 60's this morning. I opened up the windows to let some air inside. It's been hot lately.

It was in the 40's where my parents live so I guess I need to pack a jacket and some jeans. I'm leaving tomorrow and will spend today cleaning the house for the dog sitter, laundry and packing. Best friend is staying with Waffles while I'm gone which is good because she knows him from the year he stayed here and he's free. My other dog sitter would have ben $60 a day which compared to some people is reasonable.

Hello all!

Dh backed up my puter, ran into a glitch so had to start all over. He complained (rightly) about my mouse. Yes, it is a pain to use (the roller in the center is temperamental) but we have a working relationship -- or we did. After he backed up my puter I went to use it and it would NOT allow me to go where I needed to! NOT!! So I ordered a new one from Amazon ($11), it will be here tomorrow.

I also ordered two new rugs for the RV, they came today so I was out there cleaning the floors and I wiped down the inside of the fridge, and put the rugs out --- and our silverware drawer wouldn't open. I called dh out, he took a look at it (lying on his back!), after the lower drawer was removed. He was able to remove the drawer in question, and found out what part in the sliding mechanism had broken. We decided that, due to this breakage, we needed to decrease the weight of the things we keep in that drawer. Obviously, that won't fix the current drawer issue, but it may decrease the chances of it happening again. Some of the parts involved in the drawer sliding mechanism are metal but sadly, some are plastic and don't last forever. That's what broke: a little plastic part that helps guide the drawer in its runner. So, we will either run it up to the RV storage place tomorrow and see if they can fix it, or dh will head to Camping World in the morning to see if we can get the part we need, and he will fix it.

Ah, first world problems!

Tweety, glad the reno is done (in a timely manner, too!) and that you like it! Safe travels to SC, I'm sure your family will be glad to see you.

Joe, I hope church went well and you enjoyed your lakeside walk!

Have a good evening!
