Summer School

Anyone ever take Anatomy in the Summer? I'm not too concerned, but how jam-packed is the material? It's possible, right?

I am taking a&p 2. It is jammed pack, but I believe it is possible. You just have to be disciplined in your studying and not get behind. I would not plan on to many activities other than studying a&p.

I took anatomy & physiology 1 & 2 with lab in a normal semester, and it was definitely jam packed! I'd say your summer is now going to revolve around anatomy (:

I'm taking a 6-week online A&P course over the summer because I last took A&P in 2005 and I'm starting nursing school in the fall, and unfortunately I just don't remember enough about it, so I've gotta take a refresher..

Good luck!

I took A&P II over the summer but it was a 12 wk course .... so it wasnt too bad :)

I'm taking A&P 2 in a 6 week course and it is jam packed! I agree with SeaOtter. You have to be very disciplined but it's possible..if you want it bad enough. We go through a chapter a class..and don't even stay the full time in class. A lot of my learning..I'm doing on my own. The professor is good...and he's willing to help us learn..but I go more in depth after class.

Add in work..family..and other activities..it's hard but doable! Good luck!

Thanks for the replies! I was thinking it was quite possible, with dedication anything is. Good luck to you all!

I think it's definitely possible. Aside from working hard and having good study habits, it can also depend if you get lucky and get a professor that doesn't bother with irrelevant fact and stick with the main ideas and topics.

Good luck!

It is DEFINITLEY possible! I just found out I got an A in the class. If I can do it, a lot of people can. It was tough, but worth it.

I just finished AP2 along with Micro and general psych this summer. AP was the hardest. It was 10 weeks and ROUGH. I had 25 page lab reports 1 week, but they were usually about 13 pages. But, I did get all A's so it can be done, you just have to work hard and have patient family and friends, lol.

You can do it!
