Summer Patho Class

I am taking patho this summer and while I was very excited about it, I'm feeling very, very overwhelmed. I almost don't know where to start when studying, there is tons, and tons of info in each area. How is it possible to learn enought to be an effective nurse in such a short time. Anybody have any suggestions about how to proceed, I'd really appreciate it.

Hi there!

I am taking Patho as well, class starts on Monday! I feel your pain...this is normally a 16 week course packed into 8! I already checked out the syllabus...we have an exam every Monday...talk about stress!

Your next few years will be like this. You will learn a lot of information in a short period of time, and you will go through phases of feeling like to know nothing, know everything, and then know nothing again. It's all normal.

Remember with patho that you will be learning patho throughout school.

Oh, I know...I have already finished first semester :)

I decided to take the class this fall. I feel that Patho is extremely important and I want to learn it in and out...not just memorize and regurgitate.
