For all of you that took classes this summer, here's where you can post how you did and even brag a little if you felt really good about the semester. For me, I took anatomy and physiology 1 and microbiology this semester. It honestly wasn't nearly as bad as a lot of people said it would be. It could be because I didn't have to work while taking these classes though. I also had a couple of great instructors, and I'm excited that my a&p 1 professor will also be teaching a&p 2 in the fall. As far as my grades this semester, 2 A's so far but I still have a coulple of more things for each class and will finish next week.

I've taken English Comp 1010 and Art Appreciation in summer 1 (May 31-June 30) with and average grade of two A's. Currently taking Probability and Statistic. I don't know my average grade just yet, but I hope it's an A. I feel a little bombed about this course I don't feel I am doing my best. I highly doubt I'll receive an A.

I'm taking Pharmacology and US History this summer. I have an A in pharm and B in history so far. History doesn't interest me one bit and it's reflected through my grade. One more exam and a final for pharm to complete and a paper in history and I'll be done.
How are you studying for AP and Micro? I'm taking them in the fall.

With both classes, I think repetition is key. I make sure I read all my notes at least 3 or 4 times before we have exams on them. I give myself plenty of breaks though so my attention won't start wandering. For a&p, quizlet helped me a lot and I made sure to study any drawings/diagrams along with the written notes.
Thanks for sharing and way to go on those grades.
Thanks, and good luck to you!

I took A&P I (with lab) and Ethics this summer. The workload was brutal as it was only a 10 week semester.
My GPA this session (with working full time) was a 4.0.
Would I do summer session again? ONLY if I had to and ONLY if it was easier courses. Was it worth it? Absolutely, yes!

I took Theatre and American History 1. I received an A in theatre and so far have an A in history. The courses are condensed so the homework in History was a little overwhelming to me. I work full time, usually 50/60 hours a week. My university has a "Winter" semester too, I plan on taking Art to get my humanities out of the way.
I can now say I have:
Microbiology...A
Anatomy and Physiology 1...A
Thank the Lord!

LOL yup, that has a lot to do with it. Congrats on your grades!
I've maintained A's while working 50+ hours a week taking two classes a semester. I have micro and bio 1 next semester. Over summer I took A&P2 and Nutrition. Funny enough, the Nutrition class actually ended up being harder. The professor took his test straight from the book in the worst way possible. He would ask the most RANDOM questions about the silliest things. Thank GOD I read the chapters several times. Normally I don't do that but I could see this guys style from the get go.

Wow... congratulations!
I took these Anat/Micro together during the fall (16 wks) and it was brutal. I can't imagine doing them both over a condensed semester and getting 2 A's.
Congrats to everyone else too on your awesome grades!
