Hello everyone,

I am looking for advice, I have been an LPN for 15 years and have been on waiting lists in three schools for bridge to RN, can anyone tell me if there are ANY schools in MA that are accepting students in spring 2007. I have allready done 12 pre-req's and made the Deans list too. But cannot locate a school to apply that doesn't have a waiting list of 2-3 yrs. Thanks for any sugestions you might have. Paula

Not in MA, but the LPN-RN Transition program here in Columbia, SC is admitting Spring 2007. The transition program always seems to have the least amount of wait time.

ADN is admitting Spring 2010.:o

Where in Mass? and 2 yr or 4 yr? I go to Springfield Technical Community College and they don't do waiting lists, I got in right away, and I really like it.

I live in Lowell, about 2 hrs north of you, What are the school hours you attend, the bridge program at community colleges is suppose to be two semesters only th 3rd & 4th of a two year program. Are you doing a bridge or the full 2years?

I believe the Quincy College Plymouth campus is still accepting for Jan 07 but that won't be available for long.

Actually I believe that it is 3 semesters for LPN's. You have to take an exam to skip the first semester. So you would start in the Spring with the Freshman class. I am doing the full 2 years.

This semester I have clinical Tuesday and Wednesday 7-1, Class Thursday and Friday 8-10, and my lab is on Thursday 1-3. Half of our clinical groups have a 12 hour shift each week (Tues or Wed) for clinical.

Here is the website for the Nursing program.

Have you looked into Greenfield CC? I got accepted into their program without waiting too.
