Suffolk Fall 2022 RN program

Hi there everyone! Starting this thread a little early, I just applied today and very anxious. 81.3 on TEAS and 74.75 on rubric. Probably not the highest but hoping it’s enough to get in! Just curious what other peoples stats/ TEAS/ rubric scores are to those who don’t mind sharing! Good luck to everyone applying!! ?

I believe my rubric is 76.75 as of now, I'm finishing up english lit during Winter session so hopefully will bump me to 80.75. I am not sure what #'s they're looking for. 82.7 TEAS.  Good luck to you!

@natmillz Honestly that sounds like an amazing rubric!! I've seen on previous posts from last year where people had 75/76+ rubric scores and were getting in. Sounds like you're a shoe in, 76.75 is awesome and 80.75 is even more amazing. They go straight off the rubric score from what I was told by Suffolk. 82.7 is also great for TEAS. And as for me I actually last minute got accepted into another program for Spring! Best of luck to you.

Thank you! Good for you & good luck!!

Hey! I am applying to the 2022 RN program as well. When you applied online did you apply as a new student and pay the $40 application fee? I tried going to admissions for help but got nowhere LOL I just want to make sure I’m applying correctly ?

Hey! Awesome. I cant remember... I applied and after I submitted it said my payment was waived, not sure why.

OK cool. I just wanted to make sure I did it correctly because it made me apply as a new student….

hey guys.. what is the average TEAS score and rubric score? Im just trying to plan if I don't get it..

Good Luck to everyone!!

What is advanced on TEAS, is it 78 or 80?

@Nurse2bemom I Believe it’s a 79.3. When I first took the TEAS back in Jan 2021 they had just changed the “advanced” bracket from a 78 to a 79.3 minimum. Was a big bummer because I got a 78.8 the first time. Some websites still say 78 but that’s not updated..

@Jlauren96

this is such a bummer bc I got 78.7 ?

Also I know you can take TEAS twice a year. Is this jan-dec? Or academic year?  I took my TEAS July 2021 and jan 2022.

@Nurse2bemom awww don’t worry! You never know what may happen. And don’t be hard on yourself I had to retake mine to get a better score and got rejected twice from nursing school. I’m only just getting in after a year of trying. I believe it’s twice per calendar year so you can retake it again this year! Were you looking to go full time or part time? Also just to be safe try applying to other places if you haven’t already just to be safe and have some back up options incase. It doesn’t hurt. That was my big regret with nursing and the application process was not throwing my application in more than one place.

@Jlauren96

 im looking to go full time. I also applied to farmingdale yesterday and next month im applying to ncc. Hopefully one of them will accept me? LOL
