Submitting an article for publication

Just wondering if anyone had any tips for submitting an article for publication in AJN or whatever? Any tips, hints etc from successful authors would be appreciated.

Send in a query letter to the editor to see if they are interested in your article.

Each magazine has a section on the requirements for article submission. If they don't list it in the journal, they should have a "contact us" section where you can get more information. It's funny...each journal is very specific about what they look for, how it is written, etc. You may find yourself with several versions of your original article!
