SU pre-reqs?

I am in the same situation. I recently just graduated from UW and will apply to both Seattle U and UW. Seattle U doesn't require any organic chemistry, which is actually nice. The only chem they require is introductory/general chem or high school chemistry.

I guess the trade-off between having less prereqs than most of the Seattle schools, is the amount of tuition they charge people. Good luck!

So, I'm a current UW student who will be graduating with a Psychology degree this year. I plan on applying to the SU Nursing school, but their website for pre-reqs seems kind of vague to me. For anyone who has transferred to the SU Nursing school, or is planning on applying for the next year, is Organic Chemistry not required? I don't remember seeing that, but it seems kind of weird, considering every other nursing school I've looked at requires it. Plus, I haven't found a course converter (UW courses to SU courses), so I'm a little hesitant.

No idea, but you should apply to the APNI program since you already have a degree. I also noticed that you are a pharmacy technician and a graduate of UW. Funny thing because I am too. I may know you. Where do you work?

According to the info session I went to back in the summer (aka, might be a little outdated), they only require that you've taken high school chemistry or general chemistry. I vividly remember her saying this since I was a little concerned about people going into pharmacology with only a high school chemistry background! Since so many other places required Organic, I had already taken it, but if you've not and this is the only place you're applying, save yourself the cash.

I have applied to both SU and UW. Unfortunately, they have different pre-reqs. UW requires Nutrition, SU does not. I wish they all required the same courses. I am taking Nutrition online right now and will try to get into Anatomy next quarter at either UW or Shoreline CC. What if I can't get in? My program starts in summer so I need the course this spring, and it seems to fill up quickly, and I do not have a high registration priority. I am also going to take a math placement test for math credit instead of taking a math class, for the SU pre-reqs. Too much to do!

The tuition at SU is less than UW for the programs I applied to.
