stuff Ill need?

As Im reading through the posts I see laundry lists of things youll need and it all seems pretty expensive, so...I dont start my NUR courses and clinicals until next June but I want to start getting things now so its not such a lumpsome of cash at once.

What reference books will I definately need to help me out?

What will I need for clinicals?

Hey,

If you start NUR courses next year, I'd wait until then to buy textbooks as nursing textbooks become updated and different schools use different textbooks. It becomes quite expensive so I'd wait until you get the supply list from nursing school to start buying books, even lab/clinical stuff because you may get a few things in the lab bag they provide for you such as hemostat and scissors and a penlight...

Don't let people scare you. If you're a simple person (like me), you don't need much. Everything I needed was in the bookstore....books, notebooks, dufflebag full of stuff like IV bags, foley, syringes etc etc. I'm not into all the extra stuff that some people "need". I've managed a 4.0 without it, lol. Anyway.... relax and enjoy your before nursing time. :)
