studying for final exam

NCLEX books seem to be a good study tool.

I just finished my final today for Med Surg.

It wasn't easy nor hard. It's in OK i guess. 100 questions. a long 2 and a half hour. And it's over ^.^

How to study??? I tell you how, start from the very first material you learned to the very last one! All of it will be in the last test.

Don't used the stupid NCLEX Book b/c the material in there are not the same like your professor taught you during the semester.

Just study what you learn, Don't get sidetrack of not studying b/c it's will hurt you.

Your faith depend on it.

It also depend on how well you did on the early tests too. If you do a good job, not too worry a lot like me. It mean you know your stuff!

Go in there with confidence! And knock it out!

Just review what u already learned..Most teachers aren't going to nit pick on specific details..make sure u understand the important concepts and spend more time over areas where u did bad on..I actually think NCLEX review books HELP alot maybe the other poster is getting the wrong book!!

Dont take that pp advice ! NCLEX books are a great study tool. One of the instructors last night held a study session, and she told us that nursing instructors often use NCLEX books as a resource for making test questions, and material from the powerpoints. NCLEX practice questions really help train your brain on how to choose the best answer. Studying questions have worked wonders for me. Please use your nclex book.

Everyone study differently.

I've the SAUNDER NCLEX-RN new edition review book. I rarely used it though.

I don't used it to study for my final.

I study what I learned in class & my notes.

It depend on whether you know the materials or not.

If you don't know it, too bad!

And I got a 91 on the final.
