studygroup101 notes

Ive been hearing alot about studygroup101 guides and been to the site. Has anyone used these notes? Does anyone know if they are up to date with the new cirriculum? If so are they a good source to guide in studying? Is is best to buy them in a bundle or individual CD's? Thanks for any info. :)

I've just got the notes for NC4. They look thorough to me. I would recommend them.

I bought all of them and really used the practice test that comes with the notes. I found them helpful. Don't fully rely on them.

Thanks to the both of you :). At times just dont think the textbooks have enough information and Im left with questions. I guess I can be to analytical at times. I have been seeing EC is big on Diagnosing and Interventions for each section you read. I did do good on the Nursing Process on the first exam now heading for Essentials of Health Differences exam possibly the end of Nov. beginning of December. :)

Good luck Toby.

Thank you caliotter :), just figuring after reading and looking at some notes I might be able to remember things since remembering is my main down fall LOL

I like them because I can print them out and take them to work with me. They also gave me a good starting point when I was overwhelmed at taking my first exam. Spend the $65 for the EC practice exams. Last exam I took some of the questions were almost the same!

Thanks Electra :) As reading the textbooks, I was figuring that these could be an added source to help me to thinking critically instead of just knowing the basics and good source of remembering things.

I have bought a couple of the studygroup101 guides and also a couple of the larends guides. Personally, I prefer lisaarends. Both are pretty comprehensive, but larends' notes seem a bit more concise and organized while studygroup101's contains a lot of unnecessary filler (although still very useful). Just my 2 cents.

Thank you DonaldJ :) I do have LisaArends as well and will be looking at both.
