Hi, so I'm currently a 2nd year student in my ADN program and I am failing horribly. We have 2 semesters combined and in 1 I'm doing okay in but the other I now need a 91 on the final to pass. Is this even possible? I can't afford to fail and it's so close to the end I don't know what to do. I've spoken with the instructors, students who are passing, and changed my study techniques. Things got a little better but not where the need to be in order for me to pass.

Only you can answer as to whether or not you can get a 91 on your final. Have you scored that high on any other exams to date?
The fact is, it's probably far too late to drop the class without it counting towards one of your course failures (check your student handbook to verify), so all you can do at this point is lock it in, work those better study habits, and get it done.

It's not impossible. One girl in my cohort was in the same situation, she needed a 93 I believe on the final, she passed with a point to spare. That being said it won't be easy to get that high of a score on the final when you haven't scored well on any previous tests, especially under that kind of pressure.
At this point it's way too late to drop the course and retake it so you may as well make the best of it and try. Worst case scenario, you do fail and have to retake the semester which will delay your graduation but you would have the advantage of being more familiar with the material the second time around. Best case scenario, you pull out the win and pass the test. Good luck!!
