I took my Nclex exam last wednesday the 17th of feb..my computer stops at 75.. i also tried the trick and it allows me put my credit card info.. but i am confident that i answered well at the exam.. some of my friends told me that if the trick allows you to register it means that you failed. its been a week but i dont have any clue yet if i failed or pass.. i tried checking it at rn.ca.gov but it doesnt show my name.. i just want to know if i failed or not so that ii can go on and take another test.. but im still hopeful..

You will find out when you get your official results from the Board. Best to relax until you find out. Good luck.

If you got 75 questions and felt you answered well, you likely passed.

I imagine you have your good news by now...I have to laugh, when the computer shut off at 75 during my NCLEX I jumped up and almost shook the monitor in an effort to start the testing again - I was so sure..I remember getting so many choose all that apply questions. I actually started making a hatch marksl every time I had another question like that.
good luck with your career.

I thought stop at 75 is a good sign and going the full 200 some odd means you either got stuck in a small percentage that always gets it, or you didn't know your stuff at all?

My computer also shut off @ 75 questions and I'd only been there for 45 minutes! I knew for sure there was no way possible I could pass. Well, 2 days later I found out I did! It's rare to fail @ 75 questions (so I'm told). You should be able to call the 800# for the testing agency and get your results by now I would think. Good Luck!! :)

I believe CA results takes (for some reason) a much longer period of time to get back than other states Ive heard of. If you feel you answered well, relax. Theres nothing you can do about it now. I hope you did well. And even if you didnt thats still ok, you can always try again.
https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/ the forum for NCLEX test takers. Im sure theres someone there who feels your pain.
