How does a state license for foreign applicants look like? Does it look like an atm card that comes with your own picture?

What does NY BON send the licensee aside from the license card?

Do they send you a certificate of registration? What are the other things and documents that they send you?

Licenses for anyone look the same, they do not distinguish between foreign nurse and American. Same exact looking license.

I don't know about NY specifically, but more and more states (including my own) are doing away with physical (paper/plastic) licenses entirely, and doing everything electronically -- the way to see whether someone is licensed is to verify the person's license on the state BON's website.
