Hi my name is Tim and I've made the decision to pursue nursing and was wondering what should I do or start reading to help me prepare?

Research the different options for nursing around your area, as well as looking into nearby schools to see the prerequisites needed for the individual nursing programs. Good luck!

I would look at the schools to which you plan to apply and find out about your requirements. Work on getting your prereqs done.
Spend some time on this forum- you'll pick up on all sorts of ideas, some of which may work for you.

Decide what you want to be a RN or LPN. Then research the schools you would to attend and talk to some advisors. See what kind of classes you need to get you started. Look at all the different kinds of schools and what they offer, how much they cost, and accreditation. There is much to consider when choosing a school and many schools offer different programs. And if you have to do prereqs get them done first and do well in them.
