4580 starting Fall, first 5 weeks....

Who is in this?

Surely they will let you retake it. Bummer

So far the TA email said you went 5 minutes over...

That's b/c I kept trying to get it to work, and was on the phone with the IT guy. I also noticed we have no email for the professor. Its not in her introduction and not on the syllabus. I think that is poor. Students should know how to contact the professor. I feel a phone call to the deans office coming on. Heck I'm paying for this out of pocket. I expect better customer service.

Skimming the chapters for the quiz worked for me. 8 questions in which you have to reply in 1-2 paragraphs and a couple multiple choice.

Who can clarify leadership or management strategies. I'm getting everything confused, there are styles, theories and strategies. What is someone else's take on this?

Trying to get through this paper. Ugh. I feel like I am just repeating myself over and over. I must be doing something wrong here...

[h=5]4580 students: for the week 3 DB regarding CQI: the first section of the rubric states "Responds to the assignment guidelines 1-11 thoroughly and completely" and "Thoroughly summarizes findings from questionnaire and answers to 11 questions." Am I missing something? Where are these 11 questions? I have read the chapters in the book as well as the attached readings and can't find this. Suggestions?[/h]

Finally got to retake the quiz, but then yesterday afternoon, the software program for APA that I am using, lost half of my paper. I worked on that darn thing for three hours and had to rewrite it . OMG, I wanted to scream, cry, break something, and cuss. Instead I went shopping and out to eat. I dont' think the second was as good as the first, but I just wanted it done!

Technology is going to kill me.

Clevelin: I haven't started on Week three yet so I can't help you. But I am planning on mapping out all that I have to do tonight. I'll see if I can make heads or tails of it. Anyone else figure it out?

The quiz was not bad, anyone start the case study for week 2. Does it really turn out to be 5 pages?

My paper was 5 pages.

I think it's an old rubric from a prior assignment. I think they mean to score the 22 items listed in the instructions.

I sent an email to my TA.. it totally does not make sense as written.

It is really frustrating that we are told to follow a rubric that doesn't correlate with the assignment directions. I have wasted an inordinate amount of time in this program trying to make sense of directions.

Directions and rubrics that are not the same? Seems like everything is still clear as mud with the OU nursing program. My heart goes out to all of you. Just keep the end in sight, it will come. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, or so they say. I am extremely glad to be done with this program.

Problems like this with the directions not making sense with the rubric are a big reason why I don't recommend this program to other nurses. It can be so frustrating and waste so much time. I'm so glad this is my last semester.
