4580 starting Fall, first 5 weeks....

Not up on Blackboard yet - wonder what we have to do the first week?

It came available for me this afternoon. Week one, Read chapters 2, 4, and 17. Write a 5 page paper and a DB with reply. Oh let the fun begin!

I'm in. Sigh. It's been such a wonderful summer--I've been off school since May--what glorious freedom! I will be finished in December, so am trying to maintain a positive attitude.

Does anyone see where the rubric is for the first weeks paper?

The class is finally up on BB! Sigh. Summer break is officially over . Let the good times roll! Hahaha

Its under TOOLS.....My Grades.....Week 2 DB#1. This is the rubric for the DB for week 1....but if you push on it, even if it says Jan 12, it really is the DB for week1 for Fall 2013. Confusing. I know. The same thing happened in another class too, where what it said, was not what it contained....

Rubric for the PAPER is under Tools...My Grades...Organization and unit Mission, vision and value assignment......Rubric 30 points.

I am now doing the reading...First DB is due on THURSDAY!

Submit original message by 11:59 pm Thursday of Week 1.

However, in the Discussion Board section, it says: [COLOR=#990000][COLOR=#006600]Directions[COLOR=#990000]

I think this means that I am going to try and turn in the DB by Thursday just in case it really is due by Thursday - wonder which one it really is? Has anyone else noticed this?

I am having a hard time getting into this... Uggh. I haven't had a nursing course since last Fall. Been taking all pre-requs.

I didn't notice the two different dates, I just saw Thurs. So that is what I was going to try to get done.

I read the Forcyth article, now have to read the chapters in the book. I had forgotten how much work these courses are.

Never a good sign. I'm interviewing my manager this am, I have to work Thurs, and Friday so I have to get it done, since I work nights

healthlink, I got an email and announcement that the due date for the discussion board is Friday, not Thursday. gives us a bit of a breather... just a bit.

I know our section says Friday per the NEW annoucement - but be careful, YOUR section with your TA may want it on Thursday - so please doublecheck Don't want to be responsible for someone's late paper in another section!
