Awww.. Sorry for you but it's good you are ready to take it again. I havnt pass yet but I can advise you to start with Saunders .read a chapter then do questions from cd. This way you ll get to know what is your weakness and you can give more emphasis on that. Good luck

thanks to reply

I failed my test last week and I felt devasted! I prayed and did everything that I could do to study but I failed. I felt the same way you did but we got to look at this way, we did fail out of nursing school and we can take this test again and we WILL pass this time!! I took this week off to get my mind together again but next week it is on!!! Register again, take some time off and then get back to it!! I will be praying for you! WE ARE NOT GIVING UP!! :nono:

thanks nikkibrobby but i can understand ur pain too...yessss we are not giving up...

Keep on trying that is what i am doing and never ever give up on your dreams. If you do not pass then it does not mean that you are not smart enough to pass.

@AspiringRN2b thanks for your inspiration ....

hai........i just want you to knw that i took my test four times, took 4th test last friday, got good pop up, waitin for my results. According to my experience it was so hard for me when i saw others r getting passed, going to job, but am still stucked. Whenever i took test i thought may be this is my last am gona pass but again missed something, did wrong somewhere but where i dont knw. 4th experience was good, harder but i did my best, practised each day 50 - 100 question. prayed, trusted my Lord. i read James chapter 1 : 5. That helped me to believe in Him.God knws what is best for us, in His time.Good luck

congrats @beneliza thanks for sharing...

Failing can interfere with your confidence level! Look at the positive...you now know what to expect and some of what to study for. I like the Kaplan review book. It is important to understand how to answer the questions...there is an art to it. Then practice, practice, practice. These is a website that you can take a practice test for free and then, of course, they want to sell you something, but there is a free exam for you to take. It is www.NCLEXRNprep.com. If you put in this promo code you can save 15% if you want to buy anything SAVE-SFNR. There is also one for PN's www.NCLEXPNprep.com. Discount code: SAVE-RLWU. Good luck!

Start with saunders for content. It is such a great book to study from.

I know it was really hard to fail especially if you did your best and ti e just to think you are ready and will pass the exam. I took my test nclex-RN yesterday and found out I failed my first attempt. It was indeed the worst day of my life knowing that I didn't pass. However, after yesterday being sad. I think about all the people that motivates me to strive even more and now I am back on tract studying. I am doing nclex 4000, lippincott, Kaplan. Every time after I take a quiz I read all the rationale and all my mistake answer I write it down. And planning on reading them before I go to sleep. Also, while reading the rationale I look back during the time when I was answering the test. What am I thinking why I chose this answer instead of the right on. Then when I read the rationale it will enlighten why I got it wrong. Hope you feel better soon. Just study study study . I feel like the reason why I failed was I am lacking with content.
