I graduate in May and have been applying like crazy to local healthcare facilities. Had my first interview yesterday. I think it seemed to go pretty well. I was nervous, but I don't think it showed. I decided to treat the interview as a conversation vs an interview and it seemed to help me. So... Fingers crossed. I would love to have something lined up before even graduating. But if not, at least I have that first interview under my belt and the next ones should go even better.
Well I guess the interview went well. They offered me a position. Now I just need to decide whether to accept or or not. I feel torn because it was my first and only interview. I don't really have anything to compare it to. It is a facility that I am interested in working at, but are they desperate and that's why they offered a position to me, a soon to be new grad , a position right away? Or am I a good candidate and they didn't want to lose me? I know some people are desperately looking for work months after graduation. I probably should feel lucky to have something offered before even graduating.
