Good Day to all.
I am from the philippines.I passed the NCLEX exam last June 2009,and they notify me that i need to submit a valid Social Security number (SSN) ,in order to issue a permanent RN license.I need to provide it within 3 years from the date of passing , if i cant provide ssn number they will destroy my file.
My question is do i need to request for an extension?
I have a pending immigrant visa (F2B-Philippines), I hope my priority date become current before the expiry date.

There are many threads discussing this however you can wait until you have approx 6 months left and then look at applying to another state just in case your immigrant application hasn't moved. If you have got your immigrant visa by then once in the US you can apply for your SSN and submit it to the BRN and they will issue you a license
